MEET THE TEAM

Nick joined the security industry in 2002 as a Security Officer at Burnley Job Centre and has fulfilled a number of different roles in his time including Operations Manager, Branch Manager, General Manager and Operations Director.

Nick has overall responsibility for Adept and is focused on delivering a long-term sustainable operating strategy, that ensures we continue to put our people at the forefront of all our decisions. Having started his career on the frontline and progressed through the industry, Nick understands the challenges faced at each level of the business.

Tom is a chartered accountant, having qualified in 2012 and joined Adept in 2017 before becoming Group Financial Controller a year later. He now oversees the corporate finance for the whole group in his role as Finance Director and leads the corporate accounting, direct and indirect taxation function, project accounting and sales transactions.

Tom has a broad range of experience including cashflow and business forecast modelling, contract pricing, treasury management and debt procurement.

When he’s not working, you’ll normally find him out being active, a keen tennis player, runner, and dog walker.

Sophie joined the legal team in 2019 and leads on legal aspects for key projects.

Sophie holds an undergraduate BSc degree in psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP School of Law in Manchester. She completed her legal training contract at international law firm, Addleshaw Goddard LLP and qualified into the tier 1 Manchester Real Estate team and acted for institutional investors and large retail tenants.

Alan has an unrivalled track record of success within the contracted services industry. Passionate about continuous service improvement, Alan’s career in the security industry commenced in 1995 where he joined G4S on a casual contract. He subsequently progressed through that organisation managing the Manchester City Council security contract, before taking overall responsibility for the North West region.

As Strategic Director Alan delivers strategic advice, supports clients, and heads up the security and cleaning divisions including the Adept head office functions.

Alex recently joined Adept as Regional Director, providing operational support to the Yorkshire region and continued growth and development of the business. Alex’s primary focus is developing partnerships, which will promote growth and efficiency across the Yorkshire region.

Emily Webb is HR Executive at Allied London and is responsible for overseeing the People function across the group. Emily works closely with the Adept leadership team to ensure that our commitment and strategy to our people is achieved through offering compelling benefits packages and driving positive employee experiences.

Prior to Allied London, Emily worked for Universal Music Group across the Asia Pacific region and assisted on organisational change projects.  Emily also brings over 5 years of operational retail management experience, having worked in Australia and Switzerland.
