Adept acquires Agilis to expand its service offer

Adept Corporate Services (‘Adept’) one of the UK’s leading providers of bespoke operational services for mixed-use estates, Grade A office spaces and construction sites today announced that it has acquired provider of specialist engineering and technical services, Agilis Lux Ltd (‘Agilis’).

This acquisition – the commercial terms of which are confidential – represents a significant step in Adept’s evolution. The move strengthens its existing integrated service offering and enhancing its ability to deliver high-quality solutions across the UK, utilising advanced technology and industry expertise.

As part of the acquisition agreement, the Agilis name will be retired with immediate effect and Agilis will fully integrate into Adept, creating a single, unified brand delivering Security, Cleaning, Safety and Technical Services.  This brand integration will provide clients with an enhanced level of service, supported by shared values, systems and operational infrastructure..

Adept currently employs over 500 people.  Agilis’ workforce will become employees of Adept under a TUPE agreement. The acquisition, which creates a new business with a turnover exceeding £12 million.  Adept is currently actively recruiting new team members.

Prior to the acquisition, Adept and Agilis have worked in tandem providing cleaning, security, specialist engineering and technical services to a range of high-profile schemes across the country including Spinningfields Estate, Leeds Dock and the People’s History Museum. Adept’s and Agilis’ individual client bases – which include Schroders, Aviva, Bonded Warehouse and Booking.com – will benefit from a centralised, expert team offering a full range of services and solutions for their assets.
